I made a promise to myself that this year I would only buy clothes, except underwear and socks, at thrift stores. When I buy new, by the second washing it doesn't look new anymore. I bought two sweaters and three shirts last week at the Salvation Army thrift shop. Cost me a whopping $8. Shop at thrift stores!
