Did I miss something … I don’t see any changes am I looking at the wrong website? everything looks the same.
“ele v” is right–some of the changes are subtle. And it might take a while for the difference to show up on your computer.
You’ll find the new control panel, where most of the changes reside, on the lower part of the screen right after you login to The Frugality Game.

Yuck!! now there are stinking adds that we have to see and the games also pushed to the left side of the screen.
Did anyone ever win the Car or the advertised $$$ that got all of us to play this game to being with? OR was it just a hook to get people to play which I and a whole lot of other people are now thinking.

There are several of us working full-time on this project, and we’re working hard to make it the best possible experience for everyone. As Desiree mentioned, we’re still giving away $50,000 and a new car. The rules haven’t changed. In fact, we’ve given away $1,000 already. And in this new update, you can now get a better idea how close you are to qualifying with the new control panel (check out “Game Progress”).

The rules for this giveaway say winners will be chosen in a random draw held by December 15, 2010. To be eligible you have to join by June 30, 2010, and complete the challenges and activities by November 30, 2010. So we still have a ways to go until the prize will be awarded.
